Our Story
Transformed Lives, Transformed Nations
Building a global praying family who understand their identity and authority in Christ and live a life of faith working through love.
1. Reconciling souls to God to reconcile others to God. 2. Discipling souls with the truth of Gods word, teaching them their identity and authority in Christ. 3. Teaching every member of the family to manifest a life of faith working through love.
What We Stand For
The Bible is our final authority in all matters of faith and practice.
We are a house of prayer, dependent on God for every breakthrough.
We do life together, bearing each other's burdens in love.
Every believer is called to be a witness in their city and nation.
We pursue excellence in everything we do as an act of worship.
Our name is our identity — we lead with grace, just as we received it.
Our Journey
Charis Ministry International was founded in Accra, Ghana, with a small congregation of 12 believers gathered in a home setting. The founding vision was simple: to be carriers of God's grace to every community.
After years of rapid growth, the church acquired its first permanent building in Accra. Membership had grown to over 500 active members, and the first departments were formally established.
The Kumasi branch was planted, marking the beginning of CMI's multi-city expansion. The Kumasi church grew quickly, becoming the second-largest congregation within two years.
With 5 branches, thousands of members, and an active digital ministry, Charis Ministry International continues to fulfil its mandate of transforming lives through the grace of God.

Our Doctrine
We believe the Holy Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God — the supreme authority for Christian faith and practice.
We believe in one God eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — equal in nature, distinct in person.
We believe salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. Every person can be born again through repentance and faith.
We believe in the present-day ministry of the Holy Spirit who empowers believers, gifts the church, and convicts the world.
We believe the church is the body of Christ — called to worship, fellowship, discipleship, ministry, and mission.
We believe in the personal, visible, and imminent return of Jesus Christ and the final resurrection of the dead.
Whether you are searching for a church home or ready to go deeper in your faith, we would love to connect with you.
